We stayed at the Corinthia Hotel for 2 nights in January and can highly recommend it. The hotel itself is situated in Praha 4 which is just 2 metro stops from the city center, the metro station itself is only 30 seconds walk from the hotel and runs a frequent service. We purchased 24 hour metro tickets which allow you to use all mode of public transport within the city for around £3 each, we only had to buy 2 tickets over our 3 day stay so was really good value for money. Neither me or my partner know any czech but found it extremley easy to navigate the metro and tram system.
Our room was on floor 9 and had lovely views over the city, the room was well stocked with everything you could possibly need including tea and coffee facilities, dressing gowns, slippers and even a radio and bottle opener in the bathroom. The bed was huge and covered in feather pillows and duvets.
Breakfast was served from 7-11 on the weekends and had a wide range of choice available to suit even the fusiest of diners, the only low point being that the breakfast staff were slow and not paying attention to new table sitting down as i had to go up and ask for tea rather than it being served straight away at your table as its meant to be.
We didnt get round to using the pool or spa but would of loved to, they offer a happy hour service from 12-1 each day where you can use the pool without charge.
We did purchase room service as on the Saturday night we were out until late sampling the delights of czech beer and found that everywhere closed early so there was no dinner to be found in town after 11 apart from the odd sausage stall. So we ordered a pizza and fries to the room, the service was fast but the price was shocking at £17! this included a £4 tip which was complusary.
The hotel was also able to provide us with a plug adaptor but be warned you have to pay a deposit of 1000 koruna so make sure you take it back before checkin out.
I would also recommend the private city tour we had from a lady called Eva who can be found at catguide.cz, we had a 2hour tour on the first day and it set us up nicely for the remainder of the trip with the knowledge we needed to confidently get around Prage.
Overall I would recommend this hotel to anyone wanting a quality hotel with good transport links.
