This best-value choice near Wenceslas Square is tucked away on a dark side street, about 2 blocks off the top of the square. Despite the less-than-appealing neighborhood, this is the most comfortable property at this price. It lacks the character of the old Hotel Evropa (see below) but is better cared for. With modern beds and good firm mattresses, as well as high-grade Scandinavian furniture and colorful decorations, the rooms gain in comfort what they lose in adventure. They offer plenty of space and white, well-kept bathrooms with tub/shower combinations, some with shower only.

An expectantly large room for a hotel that is right at the end of a small street.

Upon entering the room, it was clean but the table had two empty glasses of wine left. As if someone had just left the room. We tried to check if some one was inside the washroom as well. The rubbish bin was full as well.

We checked in late at night and had a flight to catch the next morning so we didn't bother. The next morning we went out for 30 mins and didn't want to housekeeping to clean the room since we are going to check out anyways. So I placed the "do not disturb" tag on my door. To our utter surprise when we came back the room was made up and someone had just barged in to clean the place. I had my laptop and luggage, which could have easily stolen. I had read such reviews of theft of this hotel, but fortunately everything was fine.

The rooms are big. Price Eur83 per night double room with breakfast.

We really liked this hotel. It is small but nice. The rooms were clean and comfy. Breakfast was good and staff were friendly. It is in a perfect location to all the sites and there is a lovely cheap irish bar (cant remember the name) just a few doors away. Highly recommend this hotel.

the hotel was great.
Location-wise or service-wise, it was all good, no a/c though but you won't need it anyway.
Staff are great, and very friendly and helpful, and breakfast is delicious and varied.
