“Cheap and Friendly”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 13 February 2012

Right from check in the staff were very friendly and would help any way they could. The hotel front is quite small, so I highly recommend the hotel-organised private car for your first trip there. Breakfast has a decent range/variety (I can't recommend the stuffed eggs highly enough!) and everything was very tasty. The coffee had its ups and downs over my stay, but overall acceptable. The room I was in (double, room 222) was small, but has such high ceilings that the room almost seems twice it's actual size. The bed was comfy and the bathroom was small but clean and modern. As with all hotel rooms, don't touch the minibar as its twice the price as anywhere else.

I can't speak well enough of this hotels location; it's right around the corner (2 mins walk) from the palladium shopping centre and 10 mins walk from the main train station. Also, if you're stay her and need a cheap meal, ask the staff the directions to the 'Billa' supermarket, it's about a minute away and you can buy some meat, cheese and bread for next to nothing.

The only let down during my stay was the hotels wifi. It was intermittent at best and actually got sht down at one point for system maintenance.

Overall, this hotel is brilliantly located, clean, comfy, friendly and deeeeeaaad cheap.

Room Tip: I had room 222, it was quiet (but then it was low season) and ideal for a couple who wants to spend...

Just got back from a 3 day weekend break a Christmas present from our children and what a trip !!!!!!

The Hotel is close to all of Prague within walking distance or take a tram just across the road when we arrived it was -10 and all weekend was -5 in the day it was very welcoming to return at any time to the comfort of the Meteor Hotel it was warm and welcoming the staff always on hand to greet you tea / coffee making in the room is always welcoming ,This is one of the few hotels in Prague that offer a good bufet brekfast ( i didnt like the coffee a personal taste ) which could keep you going all day but the food ,beer is so cheap its a pleasure to visit a bar etc at any oppurtunity.
The Hotel was chosen for its proximity for most of the sights of Prague the Old Town the New Town etc .Take the trams when able it saves a lot of walking and is easy to use and get all over Prague theis really is a lot to see and do a couple of days isnt enough and we will go back soon in the summer to do all we could not do on our first visit and will choose the Meteor plaza Hotel again.
Flew with Wizz Air again to be commended on punctuallity service etc

Room Tip: We were allocated a room at the back of the hotel and the top floor it was quite a walk from the lif...

“Perfect location, only let down was that staff were not so interested in accommodating for your needs”

My boyfriend and I have just visited Prague for 2 nights. The hotel is in an ideal location only 5 mins walk from the old town. The accommodation cost was very reasonable - although we were charged 100 koruna for a litre bottle of water!!! Breakfast was okay, but as they say you get what you pay for. Only let down was that we were unable to get a late check out even though its the quietest time of the year in Prague! I had also asked on arrival and so you would have thought they may be able to accommodate our needs with 3 days notice! Restaurant seemed to be closed for the whole stay, I expect due to it being a quiet month, and there being places to eat nearby. Use of fitness area was 10 euros for an hour, little pricey! All in all ideal for a short break.

“Well-placed for exploration of the city”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 23 January 2012

This is a clean and well-appointed hotel. The reception staff are helpful and friendly. Our room, on the second floor, overlooked the central courtyard. Although not large, it was clean, with comfortable beds and a very effective shower. It was also more than adequately heated! The provision of tea and coffee-making facilities was particularly welcome. These were replenished daily. Breakfast choices included fresh breads, cereals, fruit and yoghurt etc. together with continental meats, cheeses and cooked dishes. Beware of the toaster! The hotel is very well-placed, being only a few minutes walk from the Old Town Square and Wenceslas Square.

“Excellent Value! Can't go wrong”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 9 January 2012

I stayed in the Best Western in December 2011. This was my fourth time staying at this hotel. Yet again I was not disappointed. On arriving in Prague we were collected by a pre-booked car which he had booked through the hotel. Driver was waiting when we arrived and we were soon on our way to the hotel. As on previous stays all staff greeting us were friendly and welcoming. Rooms and bathrooms are spotless and could not fault them at all. Breakfast was as good as you get in any other hotel where you would pay alot more. The hotel is about a 5-10 minute stroll from the old town but even with its central location the rooms are unbelivably quiet at night time. Beds are comfortable and I slept all night on all nights i stayed there. This hotel is amazing value for money and its central location cannot be beaten. i will definitely be back to Prague again and will definitely recomend the Best Western to anyone travelling to Prague. I have never had any negative experiences on any of my stays here. Keep up the good work!!! Thanks you to all the staff for making the stays so enjoyable.
