“Such a lovely stylish hotel”

I stayed in this hotel with my fiance for a night and we found it "Just PERFECT" . too bad we had a return ticket so that we couldn't stay more :( everything about this hotel is cute and historical ! when you decide to stay in some historical cities like Prague the best you can do is to stay in a hotel with the same spirit ! the location is great (quiet and lovely although its just minutes away from the city center ) just a short walk to the famous Charles bridge and tram station . there's also a beautiful park on the way to the Charles bridge. breakfast was AWESOME ... almost EVERYTHING you can ask for and the restaurant is really like from historical epic ! and we were so surprised that we got all these qualities under a very reasonable price !!

“Style and good price”

I was staying for 2 nights at this hotel and I was really surprised by the quality at reasonable price of this stylish hotel! Rooms are beautifully decorated, each room is different and offers standard equipment which you can expect from 4* hotel. The hotel is built in the spirit of the old castle and the restaurant is really like from historical epic! It's a real pleasure to wake up for the breakfast! I also had no problem with staff and service.

So if you're looking for something other than a business hotel and would like to stay at something different and stylish, this is your choice in a heart of Prague. With regards to the location, it's just a short walk through the park to the Charles Bridge, National Theater and city center. Tram is also nearby in case you are lazy to walk.

Room Tip: Although the hotel is right downtown, offers a large parking space, so do not be afraid to go by car...

“Good, inexpensive, basic accomodation”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 19 January 2012

My first time in Prague, and I was looking for somethign central. This was a great location - a short walk to the King Charles bridge, or over to the tram up the hill for the "Eifel tower". Also close to the palace.

The room itself was very basic. Small TV (Who cares!), but I slept well.
A good breakfast buffet for the price as well.

Room Tip: Try to face the river

“Comfortable if not first-class”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed 9 January 2012

On the edge of the park where troops once camped along the banks of the Vltava, the Kampa occupies what was a 17th-century armory. The rooms are comfortable enough if you don’t expect first-class surroundings. The best ones boast a park view—request one of these when booking or checking in. There’s a restaurant, but you’d be better off visiting one of those nearby, like Kampa Park under Charles Bridge. The amenities are: Restaurant w/garden; bar; room service; laundry service; dry cleaning. In room: TV, minibar, hair dryer, safe.

“Great hotel at a great price”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 3 January 2012

This is a great option for the budget conscious traveller (well, I thought it was pretty cheap anyway). Situated just a short walk from the Charles Bridge on the Mala Strana side of the river, the location is perfect for a visit to Prague. The rooms were clean and big (my only remark being that the beds were a bit on the firm side, although I still slept okay), the staff very helpful and friendly and the breakfast room is amazing! The breakfast itself was also very good. There are plenty of bars and restaurants in the area and a tram stop just up the street. I thought this hotel was great value for money and I will probably look to staying here again on my next visit to this city.
