We stayed here for the front end of our Backroads Prague to Vienna bicycle trip. Out of all the Prague hotels listed in the Backroads recommendations, this one was mentioned last and at the lowest rates; however, it certaintly was not least! It's right in the heart of the downtown shopping square in Prague, you walk out the door and in your in the middle of it all - short walk to Old Town. Room & bathroom were very clean. Free buffet breakfast is very nice too.
My only gripe was how they charged us. In deciding whether I wanted to pay cash or charge, I asked how much the rooms would be, they gave me the price in Euros - so I asked them what they would take in Crowns (EVERYONE in Czech uses Crowns besides them) and they gave me a conversion rate, which I could have beat elsewhere. Because of this representation that they charge in Euros (I assumed they had a corporate headquarters elsewhere in Europe), I decided to charge the room, to find out they still converted the Euros to Crowns then charged my card Crowns - so I had to pay for 2 conversion rates (Crowns to Euros to $US) plus a credit card conversion fee - exactly what I wanted to avoid by paying cash.
Also, there is no WiFi, just cable ethernet in the rooms (not sure if it's free). There's a Computer Room, but they charge you to use it (~$2 USD per 15mins).
