Rather imagine a private gay B&B than a hotel. A bit off the center, 20 mins 180 KCs by taxi, or by tram 45 mins. The metro station is easy to find but the way back from there at night is not. The house is very quiet so you will get to know what the other guests are doing. If not so they will tell you at breakfast. Ensuite bathroom much larger than average. The host is a charming guy, he wants you to enjoy Prague and will try to help you in any any anything! If you prefer anonymous hotels where you will be seen only at checkin and checkout, don´t go here. Sent me to a disco crowded with loads of escort boys trying to hook up - way too young and too slim for my taste but I guess thats what most guests are up to. Try the excellent dinner at least once: Host himself will cook for you and share meal. Breakfast is splendid. Early breakfast is unwelcome.

I found this Guesthouse, which is more like a small private hotel in the internet. I booked with a pick-up service from the airport. Due to the havy traffic, it took about 45 min. to go there. It was a very frienly welcome and I was surprised about my room (23) which was huge and very comfortable with a special shower in the bath. Truly wonderful. I really enjoyed the Lounge, which is the Bar and with comfortable sofas. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The location is not right in the center, but by tram you can visit all importend places in Prague directly from the station next to the Guesthouse. I am surely will come back .
