The level of service at this hotel is superior. The family speaks many languages (we heard proficient English and German as well as their native Czech) and goes above and beyond to help guests have a great stay in their city. Upon arrival, we were given maps and information to visit the city's many historical attractions. The front desk even sells tickets for the subway and explains how to take the train around the city. For a modest fee, they offered to pick us up from the airport (but renting a car suited our travel plans more). Private parking lot was convenient to the Pension. And wifi! We were pleasantly surprised about the wifi internet.
Our room was recently remodled and contained not only the standard furniture, but a full dresser, armoir, refridgerator, and luxurious soaking tub. Just outside our door was the door to the courtyard.
The location is perfect. Only a couple of minutes walk to the subway and a 10 minute subway ride to the center of the city. If you are familiar with Prague, you will know that you need to have excellent driving directions as the city is not what you'd call...on a grid! We took the "scenic route" on the way there, but then we don't read/speak Czech and had just been traveling for more than 22 hours, so we just enjoyed that scenery!
We liked best: our hosts! It is easy to see why this place wins awards.
We liked least: we really had no complaints!
