We took a Lastminute.com 3night 4 day mid week break to Prague. Flew Wizzair and selected a Top Secret Hotel option (not quite so secret as you can work it out) upgraded the room to include breakfast. Flights from Luton B+B two adults sharing total £300.58.
We used the bus and tram option from the airport which was very straight forward and no problem at all. We purchased the three day all inclusive travel ticket at the public transport office at the airport Kr310 each. Do remember to stamp the ticket the first time you use it as you enter the bus otherwise it is not valid and they do have unforgiving inspectors issuing fines around the Kr1000. This ticket will last for 72 hours on all the transport options and is great value (£3 a day)
The hotel is situated up the hill on the left from the Pohorelec tram stop on the No 22 line. It is tucked down the first left hand lane through a small arched gateway. The hotel was virtually empty and Prague was quiet which as far as we were concerned suited us down to the ground.
The hotel is excellent value and easily 4/5star. As all hotels food and drink is expensive (x3) compared to the surrounding eateries and bars, you need to get out and experience the local fares. Breakfast has all you would expect, something for everyone what ever your taste. We found the location ideal walking distance from the castle and palace even the town if you wanted to, alternatively number 22 tram will link to the whole city with plenty to see and do, and, within no time you will be hopping trams and metros as it is so simple and efficient.
The staff are courteous and professional and considering it was snowing and minus 16*C nothing was too much trouble. Rooms were comfortable and spotless. Great place.
