“Nice hotel but...”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed 18 November 2010

We stayed at the hotel 3 nights in family room with HB.
Hotel is new, nice, staff is OK. Breakfast was very good, with healthy food corner and kids corner with glass wall, so, you can eat breakfast and see playing kids. Family room is very small, you have to be quiet if kids are sleeping in their beds. Aquapark is excellent, but in my opinion water was too cold, especially for small kids!
Saunas was great, extra pay entry, but I was surprised that towels or sheets was not for free.
The most unpleasant thing were prices in hotel restaurant, bar and room's mini bar! We have HB but drinks were not included in the price (not marked in the booking offer) and all drinks were overpriced (beer 85 CZK , small cola, water 60 CZK) in Prague's Old Town restaurants the most expensive beer is 35-40 CZK. So I boycotted dinner's drinks!
In Aquapark area, for example, all prices were much friendly!
So, better drinking beer in Aquapark bars :)

“Good hotel”

We stayed at this hotel juli '10 when we was visiting Prague with our kids. Prague is not the superb place to be on holiday with kids, but this hotel had one of the biggest waterparks in centraleurope so we planned to be there on daytime and explore Prague centre in the evenings.

It was a very good idea!

The hotel is connected to the waterworld and its free for the guests to use it. Good and clean pools and wateractivities. This is perfect for the kids, and also for us :-) The biggest part of the waterworld is indoors, but its also pools and activities outside. and a lot of sunbeds to be sunburned in too :-) One restaurant, 2 bars and a coffee/icecream-shop are also there. The food in the restaurant was not the best, but ok.

About the hotel, VERY good rooms. We had a familyroom with 4 beds and it was good space for all of us. Clean and comfertable rooms. Very good beds. Breakfast was very good.

The hotel is located about 25 km outside of the centre of prague. and about 40-45km from the airport. We paid 25 euro each way to the centre for taxi and 45 euro each way to the airport. Its located a bit far away from anything, so if u dont want to swim and relax in a pool, we recommend to stay closer to the city.

“Poor Service, Dangerous Waterpark”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed 23 March 2010

This hotel is located quite far from the city of Prague itself so if you are expecting to spend any time visiting the city this is not the place to stay.

The hotel does offer a shuttle bus to the an outlying metro line but beware of the frequency and the restricted hours of operation. When we got of the metro line on our return from a visit to the city we called the hotel from the metro station and asked if they would call us a cab to get us back to the hotel. They said no, they would not, we should do it ourselves. Since none of us speak czech, and didn't have a cab company phone # handy, that was impossible. Had to go out to the highway and flag one down. (kind of scary to do in the dark of night).

While we were at the waterpark we saw many people suffer injuries. Indeed we were traveling with a group of 17 other people, and out of those, 4 sustained injuries using the water park. The most serious was my daughters, who broke a front tooth off falling in the toddlers play area. Even then the staff was reluctant to call us a cab to get her to a medical facility, and when they finally did, the destination that they instructed the driver to take us to was not even capable or qualified to deal with the care she needed.

Another thing that was unpleasant about the hotel is that while they have a clearly posted no smoking lobby area, they provide ash trays at the elevators, and the bar, that is in the lobby itself, fully permits smoking. Disgusting!

Service at the front desk was very slow as they seemed unwilling to have any of the additional lingering desk staff help out even when the check in line stretched to the front door.

Overall the rooms were clean and the beds comfortable.

“Excellent Customer Care”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 17 November 2009

We had previously stayed in this hotel in July of this year when there were flooding problems in the region which affected the hotel services, so we had to change to another hotel for two of our four nights. (One of the managers actually drove us to the second hotel). To make up for the inconvenience and disruption we had a very nice letter and offer of a free night if and when we visited Prague again. We were back in Prague last week and took them up on the offer. I can't speak highly enough of the courteousness of the hotel staff and their efforts to make our stay as memorable as possible. The hotel is a bit outside Prague but has very good metro and bus connections. The Aquapark is heaven for children. It has an excellent Spa and the dining room, while very quiet when we were there serves excellent food. A particular mention for the marketing manager Marketa, who looked after us so well
