This is a good hotel for the budget minded traveler. I like the price with the included buffet. Parking could be a problem if you do not opt for their secure carpark. Showering proved to be problematic as the shower head was only waist high. The lack of a shower curtain or enclosure also made bathing a bit of a challenge.
I do like the access to the Metro. It is literally right out the front door. There are also many reasonably priced eating establishments with in a block or two. My street front room was a little loud with party goers Saturday night. All in all a good place to stay and I would recommend to every one.

Nice stay closed to the Old Town of Prague.
I was very surprised by my last stay at Charles Central in October 2011
becouse I was there also in November 2010. You can see huge updrage now
comparison a year ago.
First impresion is very good. Located next to the metro with 2 stops direkt
to the Old Town. There is a new entrance to the hotel which makes it quite
well visible from the street.
Friendly and helpful staff in reception and new design in lobby, stairs and
halls. It´s interesting to see too many pictures of beautiful Prague in all
halls.Room was clean, quite simply but usuful equiped. Big modern Tv with ca 20 channels is fine. Renovated bathroom was fine as well and also clean.
Breakfast better than usual 3 star hotels : hot sausages, scrambled eggs, 3
sortes of cheeses as well as salami, jogurt, jams, local breads and too many
sortes of local sweets, we did enjoyed that very well.
We come back again becouse location is central enought and price / quality
position works perfect.

This hotel is good for some days in Prague. The rooms are hostel like, but suitable for a city vacation.
Good location, 15-20 minutes walk to the city or 2 stops with the Metro which is outside the hotel.

Good brekfast too.
