Located a short walk from the colonnades/town centre, the Sant Georg was as advertised an excellent place to stay. Our double room was very large with entry area, sitting area/table, large bed and good sized bathroom. Tall windows, lovely high ceilings, and immaculately clean. Breakfast was ample and included cooked to order eggs on top of large buffet (typical European spread - cheese, meats, cereal, breads, etc.). Parking was an extra 4 euros/day on top of room price.

Clean, spacious, excellent breakfast, friendly people, good location, lovely building very well restored. My wife really liked the stained glass window and the table linens. For the amount you pay it will spoil you as you will not find anything like it anywhere else for the price. It is very quiet at night, slept like kings!

Exquisite hotel in a charming spa town. Excellent location quiet but in easy walking distance of everything. Large rooms, warm and clean; exceptional buffet breakfast. Low rates in winter, very pleasant staff, only three hours from Prague by bus and train - just do- able in one day. Highly recommended.

The hotel is well located, a few hundred metres from 'tourist' end of town, and right across the park from the more down-to-earth facilities. It is very quiet and there is parking available in the grounds or on the street. The hotel is a beautifully restored and maintained, elegant villa from the beginning of the 20th century. It has been carefully updated with a lift and up-to-the-minute bathrooms, without spoiling the elegance of the original rooms, corridors and stairs. All the rooms are huge, and comfortably furnished. Very adequate breakfasts are provided, including cooked items if required. The only downside is that there is no hotel restaurant, though other hotels nearby have restaurants which can be used, however, off-season these may themselves be closed, meaning that there is a 10-minute walk to get a meal. The hotel doesn't have a residents' lounge, either, and some may criticise the very small, old-fashioned TV (though not me - we didn't turn it on).
