Have stayed here many times. It is my favorite in Liberec.

Location is very convenient.

Rooms are large.

Breakfast is good.

The hotel restaurant is one of the best in the city and reasonably priced.

People at the desk are very attentive and helpful.

The service from the moment we arrived was warm and friendly. Breakfast was superb with a choice for all tastes. The lunches too were of a good standard and on occasions when light refreshments were required in the evening,staff were extremeley helpful. Although our room (229) was clean and tidy we felt that with dimensions of 4m.x3m. it was too small.
The location of the Zlaty Lev was to our liking, with Liberec central shopping area and the Town Hall square within a short walking distance.
What I liked best about the Zlaty Lev is contained in the title of my review perhaps to add that I think it was all at a reasonable price level. The leisure amenities however which are only open from 19.15 until 22.00, should I believe be available also in the morning and afternoon periods because of our schedule,we were unable to take advantage of them.
However,we had a nice stay and would be delighted to return.

We stayed for three nights over New Year in Zlaty Lev.
The rooms are nice, clean and well equipped. The fridge was very noisy, but after taking the electricity from it, we were able to sleep. The staff is very friendly however the service can not yet be compared to a Grand Hotel with western standard. On New Year´s morning the "Great New Year´s Brunch" was a flop, probably because the Chef de Cuisine had celebrated New Years Eve until 6 a.m. ...
However, we enjoyed the stay in this traditional hotel.

I was in Golden Lion september 2003,..... rich history, pleasant atmposphere, very good cuisine, ... i can refer as very nice hotel
