General:
Stayed here on business last night. Hotel has lots of potential, great building and very friendly staff. There is a car park, unusual for such central location.
Room:
We stayed in the apartments annexe as the hotel was full to brimming. The rooms were dusty, rather than dirty, and the practice of laying towels and a small bar of soap on each bed is just so memorable of bed-and-breakfasts it gave a negative impression straight away.
Hot water? NO!
No hot water the next morning, had to shower and shave in cold water - yuck! Receptionist was friendly and polite about and regretted the incident, blaming it on the fact the hotel was full and the other guests must have stolen my hot water :-(
Breakfast:
Adequate, but the only warm food was eggs and tiny sausage.
Internet:
Had some difficulty obtaining network key to connect to their WiFi and, even when we had it, we could not connect.
Location:
Central to the beautiful town of Kutna Hora. Beware the roads are cobbled, the pavements are often non-existent, and there's quite a bit of noise from passing traffic, including the road sweeper at 6am! The windows are double glazed, so might be OK in the colder months. (There's no air-con, by the way).
Overall:
Friendly and adequate, but dusty and musty. The lack of hot water, and no Internet connectivity means I shall not stay here again.
