This is a small, friendly hotel with a great location right off the square and within walking distance of everything you need to see. The desk clerk was very nice. They do close for lunch and in the evening your room key also opens the front door to the hotel. The building is rustic and decorated with period accessories. The room was fine with a big bathroom. This part of Cesky Krumlov is a pedestrian zone, so be sure to have your reservation with you if you drive in. Parking is several blocks away in a public lot. (You can park in font of the hotel to load and unload. If you are driving, study the map closely as our GPS let us down completely and we spent an hour looking for the hotel. Our iPhone GPS saved the day as it showed exactly weher we were and where the hotel was. (Yes, you have to pay extra for data service in Europe but you can turn it on only when you need it - which you will to get here easier). If you want unbelievable steaks and lamb chops, eat at Krema v Satlavske, right off the sqaure, which is very rustic with a large open fire for cooking and vaulted ceilings. We recommend the Hotel Leonardo. Cesky Krumlov is a medieval gem, don't miss it, you will love it.
