“Lovely, ancient family hotel”

This was my second visit to Nalouzi. Miroslav is very polite and helpful, no problems with anything, he is also very patient and friendly.
Pension is in a very pretty building from around 1500. In the very heart of the old town. Completely unspoilt and down to earth. Basic, no tv (thankfully) but gorgeous antique furniture and wooden floors. Free Wi-Fi connection in rooms. Its a rabbit warren. A lot of stairs but wide. Stone, wood and brick everywhere. Fells like a fairy tale house. Kids love it.
Rooms differ in sizes. I like staying at the very top. Breakfast is simple and tasty, plenty of strong coffee!
Restaurant downstairs is very popular. I have been to Cesky many times and I found their home made cooking, the best by far, in quality and prices. Must try fried roquefort in breadcrumbs ..or goulash..yummy! They serve Eggenberg beer which is delicious.

“Quirky rooms”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 21 January 2011

This was a good place to stay, handy for walking, although the area is overall quite small. Interesting posters in the restaurant / bar, Nice breakfast, but not flash, all cold meat / cheese etc, not uncommon in Europe tho'. Sold a fantastic, local brewed dark beer, and very reasonably priced. The manager (owner??) was reallly cheery and concerned that we were happy with everything. We were on the 2nd floor, the stairs to the 1st floor were ok, but 1st to 2nd was rather narrow, with high risers on the steps so a bit of a struggle with heavy luggage. as we were on the 2nd floor the ceilings were sloped and a bit low in places but once you banged your head a few times the message sank in

“Pitoresque B&B in the heart of Cesky Krumlov”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 28 December 2010

Cesky Krumlov is wonderful - if you visit Prague or Budweis, you should not miss it! The B&B Na Louzi is situated in the heart of Cesky Krumlov, a sone's throw away from the Klimt Center and the main square.

You have to park outside and walk the "recepetion" is in the restaurant located on the grund floor. The rooms are furnished oldfashioned and cosy. Try to get a room on the upper floors, to avoid noise from the restaurant.

Only cash, no credit cards.

“Like stepping back into history - but with plumbing!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 13 December 2010

If staying in a medieval house in a quaint, cozy room filled with antiques, located in the heart of one of the best-preserved medieval cities in Western Europe sounds like the perfect vacation experience to you, then the Na louzi is just the place. The good news is that you won’t have to shell out hundreds of Euro per night to stay here, it’s very reasonably priced.
Be warned, however: if you expect a building built in the 14th century to have 21st century luxury, or you can't climb a flight of stairs, or you are too stupid to duck to avoid hitting your own head when passing through a doorway built to accommodate people who lived 600 years ago, then you should consider a room at a Holiday Inn.
There are (thankfully) no televisions in the rooms and no television in the lovely restaurant downstairs, so you’ll be able to enjoy a discussion with your companions or make friends with other travelers. Breakfast is included in the price of the room and the food is quite good – certainly enough to fortify you before you head out to explore the cobblestoned streets of this charming little city.
The rooms are en suite, and the shower and toilet facilities are adequate, clean, and in good repair, although not luxurious by any means.
There is free WiFi, although you'll have to ask for the code to log on.

“Authentic antique furniture and comfortable hostel”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 26 January 2010

Na Louzi hostel is located in the heart of Krumlov old medieval town. You won’t be disapointed by Na Louzi, it’s clean, confortable and friendly. The hostel is located in an old house, and set up with antique furnitures that will keep you in Krumlov medieval charm. Rooms are on top of the restaurant that opens for the guests only in the morning for a nice, comfy -and huge- included breakfast. All rooms are given names, and comprised all necessary confort. Let’s be clear : if you’re looking for satellite-tv, internet connection and king-size bed: it’s NOT for you, but if you want to enjoy authentic antique furniture and comfortable hostel with a friendly welcoming stuff, then it’s the place to go and relax for a few days.
