Sadly, this was a hotel from hell. Rating themselves as 4 star is dishonest. We stayed here 4 long nights, never, ever again.
We booked a non smoking room with a view, confirmed 3 (three!) times with emails. On arrival we were given a putrid smelly smoking room at the rear of the hotel. We soon discovered that although they advertise as being ON the square, that is only the entrance, no rooms actually face the square. Very clever.

The elevator did not work and we were on the 3rd floor. No air con, and the room was like an oven. No use asking for a fan because the power points did not work.
I had to help the annoyed receptionist replace the light globes in the bathroom, as they didn't work. The bathroom was tiny with not even a surface to put a toothbrush, everything had to be carried in and back out.

I particularly disliked the pubic hair on the floor and in the bath. After 2 days of "cleaning" it was still on the floor.

The breakfasts were a disgrace, nothing kept cool, rotting fruit, bad food and the orange juice had gone off - fizzy and fermented. We had to almost beg the disinterested, lazy staff to bring us something safe to eat. What a terrible, overpriced, run down dump. Ruined our stay in this very beautiful part of Cz.
