This hotel is just a few steps off of the old town square. It is also within easy walking distance to the train and bus stations. The staff is friendly and efficient. Breakfast comes with the price of the room, and is quite good, and well varied. Our room was huge, with a very high ceiling. Very spacious, with big, old fashioned double windows. I loved it. TV was only in Czech and German, but I wasn't there to watch TV. The building isn't air-conditioned, which might also be a problem for some people. I found the room quite comfortable nonetheless. The WIFI connection was free, but slow. Their beer hall, Budvarka Beer Hall, is perfect. The food is excellent, and not expensive. The beer is Budvar, arguably the best beer in the world. (Maly Pivovar and Budvarka are owned by the Budweiser Budvar brewery). The two of us had a huge meal with plenty of beer and moravian wine, and with a twenty percent tip, it came to about $38 USD. The hotel is located in very close proximity to a number of good restaurants, bakery/coffee houses, shopping, and an all night bar which serves Pilsner Urquell and Gambrinus. Anywhere in the old part of town is in easy walking distance. Overall a very favorable experience. I would recommend this hotel very highly.
