before i start my review,
i would like to point out that i am a wedding photographer, so this review and the fact that my son selected this venue speaks volumes.
on the 22nd of October 2011, my son and daughter in law had their wedding here,
it was Batch's first ever greek wedding,
they catered for 260 people for all courses,
starter, main, dessert, coffee then fruit and various other dishes to finish.
the evening carried on right through to midnight,
and at no time did we feel we weren't welcome,
the staff were all dressed smartly,
(even when we turned up the evening before to deliver certain items, the staff were laying tables and were all dressed up in uniform, they could easily have been in jeans as they were not expecting us)
you would think they had been doing this forever,
it all ran smoothly,
food was served piping hot,
and no-one had to wait long for any courses.
i could tell how much everyone enjoyed themselves by the amount of discarded ties and cravattes i found in the car park the following morning :)
i have gone to a lot of trouble to write this, as i couldn't find a website with a feedback facility,
finally after at least an hour i found this one,
people are only too pleased to write negative reviews about wedding venues,
not this one..seamless is a word that describes how the evening went.
also it's not often you get James Brown at your wedding (joke) and he arranged for some lovely weather as well.
i think Batch have now planted themselves firmly in 'Large Wedding Venue' pole position.
big thank you to everyone at Batch.
