A great location as a good value price
Nice quiet room, but the bathroom could have been cleaner .... did not look cleaned from last visitor.

We ate both a dinner and breakfast in the hotel. Dinner was great. Breakfast was very minimal and the cereal was stale. 2nd day looked like left overs from the first day.

We got into Ronda without a reservation. Went to the tourist office and got a list of hotels. Don Javier happened to be right around the corner. We went in andwere told ,yes there were rooms. We asked how much and were surprised to hear 64 euros! The room was large with a good sized bathroom. We had windows that opened full length onto the street below. A great place to sit and sip wine after a long day of walking. Great for people watching too. I would definitely go back.

We came into Ronda without a hotel reservation and stumbled on the Don Javier after checking at the Parador for a room. It is located adjacent to the Parador on a pedestrian street leading to the bull ring and is an ideal location for visiting Ronda's sights. The hotel has a very good restaurant attached to it. We got the last available room, but it was nicely decorated and the rate included breakfast.The receptionist spoke English and was friendly and helpful. While it does not have the view of the Parador, the price more than makes up for it.

We found the hotel when we drove to Ronda with our friends. The hotel is located on the main street, right in the center, next to Parador hotel and the bridge. The hotel is beautifully decorated, clean and well equipped. The price we paid, 74 Euros, included decent breakfast.
Ronda is unbelievably beautiful!
