We chose this from the Lonely Planet guide and were disappointed. The hotel has large airy rooms, but the one we were given on the 3rd floor, was very tired and tatty, with very worn bedcovers but clean white cotton sheets. The beds were not good, one was a mattress on an iron bedstead base, I did sleep ok but it was very creaky. There was quite a damp smell in the room until we had opened the windows and a general smell of bleach on the corridor - a bit like an old folks home. Breakfast was included in the price, very basic coco pops cereal, milk and bread and meats. We would have been better to have eaten out, but as we were leaving it was convenient but not a meal to savour. We chose it because it said it had parking but this turned out to be 5 mins walk away in an underground car park costing £8 for 24 hours. It was also very difficult to get to the hotel by car due to the narrow streets and one way system. Sat Nav proved essential. It is well located for seeing the old town, the gorge and being close to the bull ring and lots of restaurants. It ok if you just want to arrive, see the town, sleep and leave the next day but I would not have wanted to stay there any longer.
