We stayed 6 days from Jan 6th. We were given a compact room with a fabulous view of the 'New Bridge', gorge and valley which we changed to a slightly larger room with an equally good view when available. We had the continental breakfast in our room but did eat one evening at the hotel's restaurant (where the buffet breakfast is served) and found the food delicious and maitre'd lively, helpful and easy to communicate with. The reception staff were the same. We hired a car for a couple of days and paid 16 euro for a spot in the Hotel's 8-car garage. The staff were extremely quick to help us get the car in and out. All Ronda's attractions and plenty of eateries are within easy walking distance of the hotel. It is an easy half hour walk from the RENFE station but, depending on your luggage, you may consider the 5 euro (approx) taxi - the paths are narrow and cobble-stones hard on airport bag wheels.

This is a small hotel. I think your experience will depend on your room assignment. We paid for a "superior" room with a view over the gorge. The room and bath were okay. The view was worth the price. We had dinner in the hotel. It was fine by Spanish dining standards. Enjoyed the local wine recommended by maitre'd. Front desk staff pleasant and helpful.
I take note of and agree with previous review that it is a mystery and a disappointment that guests cannot have cocktails on the deck.
Approach to the hotel is very tricky on narrow street. If you are driving get explicit directions to the public lot. Park in the public lot, walk a couple blocks to check in.

We would rate this hotel higher on TA, but then we stayed in one of the gorge -view rooms on 2 levels! This was a real treat for our party of 3. The room was beautiful, clean, and roomy. We had dinner in their restaurant overlooking the gorge and thought it was excellent too. The location was perfect also, just up from the bridge where you could explore both sides of the charming town. We loved this stop on our trip to Spain, and wished we had a second night. The reception went above and beyond when they actually parked our car for us!

Beautiful location, well-appointed rooms w/ great views. Terrific restaurant. Parking in their garage a big help.
