Loved the location of Royal Hotel in Ronda since it was winthin walking distance of old town, the main square, the bullring, lots of restaurants nearby, located directly across from a beautiful city park with magnificent views looking over the valley and very reasonably priced. There were 3 couples in our party and each of our clean rooms were nicely laid out, offering comfortable beds and nice bathroom. Not much of a view from our rooms, yet we didn't stay in them very long due to our sightseeing. Reception staff were cordial and efficient.
One couple did experience some street noise since their room faced the alley instead of our other rooms facing the park. There is a church within a block of the hotel, but I never heard the church bells (guess we were tired from all our walking during the day). There is no elevator yet the stairs are easy to climb since we were on the second floor. There is no hotel private parking so we had to park in a pay garage located about 1 1/2 blocks away. No breakfast is served, but that is typical for Spain hotels.
If you are on a budget I would highly recommend this hotel.
