We travelled to Ronda from Gibraltar with our son and his family, so looked for a Hotel in a good location and with a car park as we had read in other reviews that parking is difficult in Ronda. We weren't disappointed, this Hotel is literally 2 minutes walk from the Bull Ring and has an underground car park. The Hotel do charge per night to park there but it is well worth it. Some of the staff spoke better English than others, but we managed to make ourselves understood. They were all very pleasant and helpful. We had 2 rooms next to each other, ours being slightly larger. Both had laminate floors, nice bedding and curtains. Ours had patio doors onto a juliette balcony overlooking the side street. The bathrooms were very modern and clean and we had two basins set in a marble top, toiletries were provided.
Having read other reviews, we weren't sure what to expect for breakfast, but we found the choice of cereal, fresh fruit, yoghurts, ham, cheese, rolls, croissants and cakes to be adequate. There was also a small selection of scrambled egg, sausage and streaky bacon. The restaurant offered a set menu for 12 euros, but can't comment on the quality as we ate out, in search of tapas and paella ! We did have lunch in the snack bar next door and that was good value.
The views in Ronda are spectacular and a walk round the old town is a must, to see the architecture. We also enjoyed a visit to the Bull Ring, one of the oldest in Spain.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this Hotel and would certainly stay there again.
