We were looking forward to the experience of staying in a Parador. We did not get the one we had hoped for. The only saving grace is the location being situated right on the edge of the gorge. Parking is very expensive, would recommend parking at the train station which is free and only a 20 minute walk away. There is also a public car park where you can park for free for up to 48 hours just a 10 minute walk away in the direction of the bull ring. The service at the Pardor is very slow and unhelpful. The rooms are well furnished and very comfortable but the whole place lacks charm and character. We were also very surprised to find that that the bar/lounge area stops service at precisely 11.00 pm on a Saturday night despite several guest, incluluding ourselves, relaxing and chilling out with a book and a nightcap. Understand why many previous reviews concentrate mainly on the location or the rooms themselves as there really is not much else you can say.
