Getting there after dark was a little scary, because of the narrow and very curvy mountain roads. But unlike other reviewers, we found the building without any trouble, b/c of the great directions provided by (B&B owner) Ruth ahead of time. We rented the Hamlet Room, the smallest available. It's a studio with a full-sized bed, ample closet space, bathroom, small sofa, TV, kitchen space with a microwave, small fridge, coffee maker, and basic cooking/eating equipment. The whole place was very clean and cheery. They even looked after the little details by stowing an umbrella, small cooler, and beach towels in the room. The Hamlet is located next to the slightly larger Brunel Room, which includes a full size stove/oven and fridge, and a bedroom with a door. If you intended to do a lot of your own cooking while in Rincon, the Brunel would be the best option. But for just the two of us, the Hamlet was just right. Our room looked out over the small and well-maintained pool, and beyond that was a spectacular view of a mostly unpopulated valley and then the ocean. I suggest having a rental car if you're staying at La Rosa Inglesa, since it's a bit of a hike to walk into town (and down those aforementioned narrow, curvy roads), but this is the perfect spot for those who want to get away from the bustle of beach-side hotels. Everything is very close, so you can get just about anywhere you want to go in Rincon within a 5-10 minute drive. As others have reported, breakfast is fantastic at La Rosa Inglesa. The staff always made sure that we were seated immediately, even if there were many people (who were not staying at the B&B) ahead of us in line. They had fresh-squeezed juices every morning and great local coffee. The entire experience was wonderful, and we look forward to getting back to La Rosa Inglesa again.
