Our biggest decision about whether to write the review was whether or not we wanted to share such an amazing place or keep it too ourselves. After deciding not to be jealous we have to say the place is incredible. Everything from the service, location, view, cleanliness of the rooms and on top of that breakfast is included every morning! If your looking for a beautiful place to stay look know further then the English Rose!

We have been staying with Jethro & Ruth 4 times in the past 5 years, and can't say enough about their location, hospitality, and service. We love how peaceful and clean the rooms are, the great view while we have breakfast, and delicious ones Jethro serves!
Last time we were there this past Feb., we stayed in Chester suite and it was spacious w/ such a great view.

Every time we visit rincon we frequent the english rose. It is. Beautiful and the food is delicious! We went on a saturday and again on sunday to have breakfast. On each day we had a different waitress and were unhappy to recieve unreadable checks. Our Check, with the total in the middle of a bunch of scribbles was a barely legible word "grat" written small. This was the tip, included which we have no problem with, but done in a way to ensure the customer would most likely miss it and double tip. We felt very uneasy about it and found it desparate, sneaky and wrong. We will go back but will always ask from now on about each item on our poorly written check.

We went there just to have breakfast, we live in Puerto Rico so it was easy for us to get there after calling them. The place is really nice and it has a beautiful mountain and ocean view. We got there at 9am on Easter Sunday and we were seated right away, we didn't want to wait for a balcony table. We sat inside and could see the ocean from there. The staff is super friendly without going overboard. Our waitress explained the menu in detail. I had a classic american breakfast: eggs, bacon, toast and sand dollar sized pancakes, all very tasty. My husband had The Full Monty: eggs, toast, bacon, sausage, tomatoes, mushrooms and potatoes. The fresh squeezed lemonade was awesome. I just wish it wasn't 3 hours away from my house. See pics :)
