I can only agree with previous comments..The AC is a very nice hotel located just outside town on the main road into Cuenca -so easy to find. About 5 mins drive into town..a petrol station with supermarket next door for drinks/snacks etc. However the mini bar (soft drinks only) in the hotel is FREE!. There is also a big shopping centre just across the road so hotel very well located. Bus stop right outside the hotel (line 1 and 2)takes you right into town for 70 cents.

Modern hotel, nice bedrooms with spacious well equipped bathroom. Pretty good breakfast too and friendly and helpful staff on the desk. No hesitation in recommending the AC for a good value stay in Cuenca.

New modern hotel, oddly located behind a McDonald's and a petrol station (perfect to get drinks and snacks, though). It is a 3 km drive to the old town, so perhaps not ideal for those without a car. There is plenty of free parking space in the area.

Rooms are fairly large, very contemporary in style. Bathrooms are also reasonably big, with a massive bathtub. In room facilities include HDTV with plenty of national and international channels, and a well stocked mini bar (for those too lazy to get down to the petrol station for cheaper drinks and snacks!). The whole place looks spanking new.

Breakfast is excellent, buffet style. Delicacies on offer include typical Spanish favourites such as tortilla, ensaimadas, Serrano ham and chorizo. I personally loved the peach juice. Definitely something to look forward to first thing in the morning.

Would I return? Absolutely.

The hotel itself was comfortable but it was further out of town than we had expected. There are no restaurants handy and the room service menu was very basic. We would not stay here again due to its location.

The Ac Cuenca is very easy to find being alongside the N320 road. Although a couple of km south of the town centre, it offers excellent value for money, is modern and clean. Don't expect great views from your room, but there is ample parking and the meals, although the menu is somewhat limited, were excellent.
We would definitely stay there again.
