This holiday was bad from the start. We ended up in this hotel as our original hotel had problems.
We booked a wheelchair friendly holiday. This hotel was soo far from it. But from a more general review.
Most of the reception staff were friendly. I reported a problem with one of the 2 english channels not working. Then went out, came back 2 hours later and asked if anything has happened as I have not been around. Got told that the problem is reported, report it once, no more. How rude. Reported how one of the bedroom lights didn't work. 4 days later, we leave to go home (Light still not working)
The person looking after the bar at the swimming pool was really friendly. He did not speak much English, but I speak a little spanish, he would go out his way to help.
The problem was the hotel does not normally cater for all inclusive. So when we arrived he had to work. Instead of having 10 people tops on the roof serving drinks only, he had to serve 30 of us, Food as well, which he had to get from downstairs.
The food was not great. The eggs used for the breakfast, you would find on the pizza at lunch and dinner. and the food choices does not really change through the week.
Entertainment???
One night was a disco played in the bar. Not that interesting with only the brits hanging around and we all ended up talking.
Another night was a belly dancer.
All the other nights, the entertainment was provided by the other English you met. As the hotel had nothing.
Location:
2 Minutes walk from the beach, nice views off the beach from most balconies.
The resort itself is mainly for germans so plenty of german cafes and bars around. One English bar called the "Sports Bar" Find this place, the only place I find to get a cup of tea.
Rooms:
The beds were not the best. The patio Doors were hard to open and close. With single pain glass so you can hear everything outside the hotel (A lot of people walking home after drinking can get very loud) Also with two 24 hour shops outside, you would get drunks getting more drinks all hours.
The room walls were paper thin, most people on our stay (including me) were kept up all night with germans coming in, talking a bit loud but god does everything echo when you want to sleep.
So germans in between 2am and 6am then Germans going out between 7am and 10am. So bring some ear plugs.
The brits we met were ace, made our holiday. The downstairs bar was OK but the hotel is not used to having all inclusive, thus having people hanging around the hotel all day so they can not manage.
Would not be going back even if I got paid to.
