My wife and I have just spent a week at this hotel and, in our view, it is a "good" three star seafront hotel - better than "average" but not quite "very good". For us the location was ideal - a few steps to the beach and within very easy walking distance of both the newer resort of Santa Margarita and the older town of Roses.
We booked a sea view room on a bed and breakfast basis - preferring in the evenings to try various local restaurants. You could not describe our room as spacious but it was large enough for our purpose. It was basically but comfortably furnished - with a fridge, TV and small safe. The bathroom (with a bath and shower over) was also fairly small but again adequate for our purpose. The balcony, with its stunning views, was small but with room enough for two chairs and a table. At breakfast there was a good choice of cold and hot items - as good as, if not better than, other three star Spanish hotels we have stayed in. Our only criticism was that the dining room looked more like a canteen than a hotel dining room.
The lounge and terrace were attractive and the little of the evening entertainment we experienced was enjoyable - a female singer on keyboard. The staff were professional and readily responded to our various queries.
