Found this hotel worth a visit food was good and right on the beach Staff where great not much around but so what good location and a great holiday

had a fantastic 2 week holiday at grupotel molins from 15 th october 2011. everything about the hotel from manager to food cleanliness and all staff was total perfection. the guest bedrooms are very comfortable and come complete with air con and for tv addicts you can even see your favourite soaps as bbc1 and itv feature on the programmes. the choice and quality of the food was first class. the views of the bay of cala san vicente are amazing from most areas of this wonderful hotel. have already booked to go back for 2 weeks next year. an extra touch of comfort came in the form of super bathrobes in the bedrooms. all in all it was just absolutely perfect.

We are regular clients of the Molins, enjoying its peaceful beautiful location and the very helpful and friendly staff. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and meeting the new member of staff, Nuno, who is a most welcome addiition.

We spent a very enjoyable and relaxing end of summer week in Grupotel Molins. It's a 45 minute drive from the airport and there's free parking in the square outside the hotel. Our room was comfortable, spacious and clean, had a fridge and air-con, and a great balcony view overlooking the bay.

The staff are jovial and friendly and make you feel very welcome. One of the highlights of our stay was the food. We stayed half board and the evening buffet was of excellent quality with lots of variety and much better than you would expect, with a good range of local and Spanish wines. It was wonderful to have the option of enjoying breakfast and dinner on the terrace with a view of the bay. (Although arrive early if you want an outside seat for dinner!).

We were also treated to a complimentary cocktail party at the beach bar with drinks and plentiful snacks, as well as a free local wine tasting one evening - which involved the most generous servings you could ever imagine!

The hotel is right on the beach if you fancy a dip in the sea, and there is also a medium sized pool, with plenty of sun loungers on two levels - we never had a problem finding free ones (in mid September).

The hotel is very popular with older guests, but that didn't bother us, as we were only there for peace and quiet in any case. Might be a problem if you're after something more lively! The intermittent evening entertainment is straight out of a northern social club, but it's easily ignored.

Cala San Vincent is a small and quiet resort, with a few bars and no nightlife, but that's what we wanted. There's three or four nice, reasonably priced local bars in the area for lunch and drinks - our favourites were Bar Pepe and La Tasca (with its amusingly stolen sign from the British tapas chain, don't worry, the food is much better especially the pa amb oli and pimentos de padron!)

Would heartily recommend Molins as a friendly, relaxing and great value stay in a lovely quiet part of Mallorca.
