“Fantastic..”

I went through Thomas cook and was supposed to be staying at a different hotel. They had double booked us so we were transferred to tskkos. The food was great the staff were very friendly and the cocktails were great. We were well looked after and the receptionist always made sure we were safe :) I would definitely go back there.

To start off there were 3 of us in one room (all girls), there was a double bed for 2 of us, and a sofa bed for the other person (really comfortable). We arrived at around 1am, the late reception man which was always there at night (George) was very sweet and helpful, he carried our suitcases to our room, which was upstairs and also shown us all the facilities in our room. He may come across a bit forward and too friendly, but he is genuinley just trying to come across as a very kind person, he helped us in every way possible as we arrived very late, we was about to walk to find a shop, and he informed us that there wasn't any shops open at this time, as we were very thirsty we asked him where there were any shops we could get a drink from, he opened up the canteen for us, and gave us lots of free bottles of water which was very sweet! He always greeted us with a smile whenever we seen him and is very kind! Couldn't have asked for a friendlier face to be greeted by after a long tiring flight.

Now to the other members of staff working there; well they weren't the friendliest of people. Mainly the women working on reception in the day time. Greeted with a unfriendly look if you were lucky!! most of the time it was pure ignorance or a grunted "wait one minute". Although one woman was very lovely and was willing to help. The only thing I would complain about with the reception staff is that they would often wonder off for atleast ten to twenty minutes leaving passports on show and unattended.

The cleaners; I guess there rule was knock once and walk straight in. We were getting undressed and they walked straight in, even though we were half undressed they carried on cleaning around us and didn't bother to give us a few minutes to cover up!! Although they always cleaned our room and bathroom, we always got clean towels, the cleaners came in every day and never touched any of our personal belongings.

The hotel room itself was lovely, there was a dressing table big enough to get ready before a night out, the bed was comfy, we had unlimited usage of aircon, but maybe this was because we were half board. We had a fridge for any food and drinks we had bought. We found the odd ant in the bathroom, but never a major problem there were the odd 1 or 2 we saw. the balcony was a nice size which had 2 seats and a table. in the cupboards we had plenty of pans and cutlery if we wanted to make any food. there was also a room divider from the double bed and the sofa bed if you wanted privacy. The pool is a very good size, and was never too cold to jump in. Although it is sometimes hard to find a sunbed if there is more than two of you if you go for one in the middle of the day.

Food hmmm if deep fried chicken wings for breakfast is your sort of thing then get there but it was not something i'd recommend to the other guests. The breakfast could have been lovely the rest of the week but due to the long nights of partying we never made it to breakfast and sometimes even lunch! The food available at lunch for the half board or guests who are self catering wasn't exactly wow but nothing too terrible although we onced questioned our chicken burger to be chicken and not beef! We had to pay for all our drinks as we were half board even at meal times which we werent very pleased about. The drinks that were free were barely drinkable.

Great hotel for a family but wouldn't recomment it for a group of partyers with the screaming children round the pool. We were informed we couldnt bring anyone back to the hotel as the police would be called . I would say it was more for the russians/germans and not for the english as the only english channels available on the televisions provided in the apartments were news channels. Distance to nissi beach is about a fifteen minute walk. To the main strip I would reccommend a taxi or quad it is not in walking distance.

If you want to get a taxi, i would reccomend standing at the bus stop just outside the hotel, and if they tell you 10 euro to the square, just say 'no we only pay 1 euro on the bus' and they will offer u a very good price.

Overall the hotel was very clean, family friendly, nice large pool and a very relaxing atmosphere.

“Nice place, quiet”

Stayed mid August with wife and kids age 12 and 21. First impressions good - clean reception pool area and rooms. Stayed in 1 bedroom apt - clean, beds comfy, great air con (included), maids every day. Ask for a kettle if it's missing when you get there.
Superb pool, spotless. Sun loungers reserved with towels 24hrs a day until we spoke to reception and a note was promptly sent round all guests asking them to remove towels at night. Probably just enough loungers, beach a short walk away.
Virtually all staff Eastern European but all pleasant and friendly (except perhaps a surly receptionist).
Most holidaymakers Scandinavian with about half a dozen English families. Not really a problem but entertainment geared for them which consisted mainly of young kids dancing to a CD played over and over (Agadoo, etc) and finished by 10pm. Us Brits decamped to a couple of bars out the gates and turn right with proper beer and Sky Sports. Very little else in walking distance but Ayia Napa 1 euro away on the bus.
Food nothing special and Scandinavian themed, but could usually find something to eat. Clean and good service with no queueing.
Would strongly recommend all-inclusive with kids as very expensive drinks etc, 2.50 Euro for small glass of coke, 4 Euro for an ice cream. We got upgraded due to overbooking (had to spend 1 night in another hotel), would probably have run out of money otherwise.
Overall, a pleasant, peaceful holiday in a good location for families.

Room Tip: Upstairs rooms have enclosed balconies, downstairs are open.

“Nice break at the Tsokkos Paradise”

Just come back from first time on the Island. Loved the Hotel. Very clean varied food. All inclusive customers can order sandwiches for the beach the day before (no charge) includes fruit and crackers etc. bottle of water. The entertainment is really for the kids apart from the odd quiz. Great fun watching all the little kids doing the party dances to the "mini disco" for half an hour but the rest of the entertainment finishes by 10pm. So party goers dont book into here if its adult entertainment you are after. But no problem because you are only a bus ride (one euro) to other hotels and Aiya Napa (10-15 mins) Swimming pools were very clean and all the staff friendly. Beach is just across the road - 2.50e for a sunbed on the beach. No stories of thefts or muggings etc. in fact didnt even see a police car or emergency vehicle during the week we stayed (end of Sept, start of Oct 2011) All nationalities at the hotel and no English louts.

Room Tip: Anywhere at the complex is ok because of the small area

This was our third August visit in a row. Myself, my wife, my daughter , her husband and two children age 8 and 5.The apartment was spotlessly clean, Bedding and towels changed daily. Lovely pool. Food was fine, had a lot worse in Spain. Great pool. Entertainment was for kids. A lovely quiet part of Ayia Napa. Overall would recommend it for families with young children.
