“Average apartments, great holiday.”

Myself and my partner booked a last minute deal to Cyprus for a well deserved break, we stayed for 11 nights- just right. We were met by friendly staff and given room 1712. Room was basic but very spacious and clean. We had a large balcony although this did not get much sun and looked over onto other rooms. Our toilet seat was broken but this was sorted within the hour. The bed was uncomfortable but we mostly slept well as it was always quiet and the black out curtains were handy if you wanted to lie in. The T.V only had about 10 chanels and were non english so I was pleased I had brought a CD player. Air con in rooms was free and were very effective, safe boxes cost 30 euro and 20 euro deposit. Kitchen facilities were basic- toaster, kettle, fridge and a grill/ hob so we decided to eat out every night!!! Good job there are some lovely places to eat out and about! We didnt stay all inclusive and when we saw the food and entertainment we were glad! There is not alot to do at night on the complex so we walked into the main part most nights. It takes about 15 minutes to walk into town. Everything you need is at the hotel shop across the road we found it a bit more expensive than the others on Nisi Avenue. The pool is big and there are always plenty of sun beds. Its a short walk to the jetty opposite the hotel where you can swim, sea is lovely and warm but we would advise buying a pair of sea shoes as it is very rocky here and on some other parts of the island. Recomended resturants are: HOKIDO japanese- just by 'Fuzzy Duck' off Nissi Avenue- nice, friendly, tasty food, good wine, average prices, realy entertaining chefs put on a good show and really look after you if its a special occasion especially. ESPERIA HARBOUR FISH RESTURANT (over looking the black pearl boat) unusual food in a lovely setting. Try the ice cream parlours for the bueno and ferero roccher ice cream it is to die for!!!! loads of great bars and clubs- we went out the first night, woke up the next morning and had to look through our camera to piece together the night- last pic was me hugging michael jackson!!! was like somthing from the hangover films!!!Water parks fun but once youve tryed everything gets boring. Black Pearl is so dissapointing, dont do it!!! Hire a car and go to Aphrodities rock and Famagusta realy interesting.
All in all had a fab time, great weather and lovely people, only down side is it is Very expensive and if you drink too much the hangover is the worst one you will ever have!!! Im T total now!!!!

This holiday was great. All the staff in the hotel were friendly and very helpful. Thnaks Dino for all the drinks and keeping us well supplied. Thank you also to the waiters and head waiters who were all very efficient and friendly.

We had an apartment with kitchen and fridge and large balcony. Bed was very comfortable and all very clean.

We had a few days with some rain but made use of the suana then and the bar.

The Nissi beach was a dream with clear sea and shallow which is good for our non swimmers.

A must is a visit to the Bed Rock Cafe, where you are made very welcome and great music, you can literally dance the night away.

Thanks Panas for a great holiday

“Best Holidays we've ever had”

Due to a short business trip to Cyprus took my girlfriend with me to see a bit of this magnificent island. I was astonished! You could have both quality relax time back at the hotel and some crazy nights out in town. But first things first.

Panas village: a great accomodation complex. Spacious rooms, very clean, fully equiped studios. A/C free of charge. Stuff very friendly (receptionists always smiley and willing to help-waiters will serve you quickly even on a rush hour- security will help you out if you have noisy neighbours ). Huge pool-always a spare sunbed. A mix of children, young people, elderly people-all could blend in with or without the help of the stuff.A few mini markets close to the hotel to provide you with everything you need. Only a 10-15 min stroll to town-taxis a couple of euros.

Restaurants: On your way to town there alot of restaurants you could choose of. Most crowded were down town asian-polynesian-contemporary cuisine restaurants. Haven't seen many traditional cypriot places and nice greek mezes are hard to be found. Undisputedly the best was Yo'Thai Asian restaurant. Instead of heading to town head the other way up and you'll find the best asian delicacies. Large variety not very cheap but certainly worths it.

Nightlife: One word-outstanding! Once you reach the town centre with the bars & clubs you will leave no earlier than daylight. So many places to go rock- pop -dance and constantly party! It is mostly an 18-30's but you could see other age groups having a laugh and partying!

Rest of Cyprus: We've been also to Lefkosia (city capital) and done some crazy shopping. Food there was much more expensive. Larnaka (where the airport is) has a couple of beach bars but nothing special. A festival was run at the time where you could buy local candys, traditional decoration stuff and clothes. There is a municipal theater with many events throughout the year.

In conclusion Ayia Napa is the best place for holidays in Cyprus, Panas maybe the best resort to stay in coz you get alot compared to what you've payed. My girlfriend keeps on asking when we're going back. It won't be long.

Room Tip: Try the upper floor with pool/sea view. Quietest rooms with a magnificent view to help you chill.

“Loved these apartments”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 24 October 2011

My family have stayed at Panas in October two years in a row, and I can say that both times the apartments have been fantastic. We stayed self catering so cannot comment on how the food was, but as far as the apartments were concerned they were excellent. The rooms are a bit basic, but they were always kept clean by maids who changed the sheets everyday and cleaned the apartment every other day. Panas is situated 10 minutes walk from the centre of Ayia Napa, halfway between the centre and Nissi Beach, which was perfect as we spent most days at Nissi and most nights in the town centre. I highly recommend this hotel if you are looking to stay somewhere relaxing and clean, though I have to add that both my stays were not peak season so I have no idea how lively the Panas is then. We are hoping to return to Ayia Napa next year and if so will definitely be booking these great apartments.
