“Well appointed hotel”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 3 October 2011

My wife and I enjoyed our four night mini break staying at the Euronapa.

It is 100m from the Hokkaido Japanese Restaurant; which is must is visiting Napa.

Notwithstanding the hotels proximity to the party scene we found it quiet enough to get a good nights sleep in our well appointed one bed apartment; which was clean and spacious.

Breakfast was a typical continental style with an accepectable attempt at an english breakfast
:-)

The bar prices were also reasonable with cocktails costing between €3 - €4.

All in all well worth the €79 per night we paid at the end of Sep.

Room Tip: Book a superior One Bed Appt

“Dont believe what you read...”

The reviews for this hotel dont do it justice... Its has recently been refurbished to a very high standard. All hotel staff were friendly. It appears that alot a tour operators from Russia use this hotel, as mostly Russians by the pool.... And all the staff address you first in Russian.... But that said rooms were clean, with free air conditioning, kettle and toaster.... There is a supermarket (The Plaza) just across the street that is really well stocked. When heading to the strip in the evening turn leaft at the front of the hotel... If your looking for a good english breakfast turn right and head to Garys Bar.

“New Hotel apartamens need new staff!!!”

We came to hotel just few mins after midnight, so we had to wait more then 30 mins to be checked in as a receptionist didn't understand a word in English and looked at our reservation as smth very strange. We have stayed there for 3 days and we met 3 different receptionists and guess what there were only one girl who said hello when we passed by, the other two guys didn't even notice us! how rude is that!
About the hotel i think that is absolutely great place to stay on your holidays as you get lots of space, cooking facilities, everything in the rooms are brand new. It is just 5 mins walk from the city center and around 3-4 mins from a quiet beatch.
I would recomend a hotel just for value and location matters!

“Last minute swap, ended up better than what we booked!!”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed 20 March 2011

Note: The strip is 5mins walk away from this hotel - we learned on the third night that if you turn left out of the hotel, walk up the road and turn right, you are on the strip. If you walk past McDonalds you have went the wrong way but will eventually come to the strip after a 15min walk!

I travelled to this hotel with my 3 friends for a girls holiday to Ayia Napa - our other 4 friends were in another hotel at the other end of the resort. We had originally booked another hotel closer to the strip through our holiday operator and on the day that we were due to depart we received a phonecall to say that the hotel was overbooked. This meant that we didn't have time to research the other reviews, I'M GLAD!!

On arrival, the hotel did look a little shabby, bright orange with an empty bar and sorry looking reception area. We were then led out to an area with various blocks and were given two double rooms (we had originally booked a family rom with Thomas Cook). However, we were presently surprised that we had a connecting door to the other room, and in hind sight this actually worked out for the better as we now had two bathrooms - 1 bathroom and 4 girls getting ready for a night out would have been difficult. The room was spacious but very basic, with two single beds, sofa bed and desk with mirror. The bathroom was situated next to the door and the kitchen area was opposite with table and chairs. The safe was built into the wardrobe and the air conditioning was very outdated but worked fine. Our room was situated closest to the pool area which was very spacious and there was never a shortage of beds. Our 4 friends came to join us at our pool every day - even though their hotel was much nicer and modern - their pool was small and overcrowded but no one bothered us - to be honest by the end of the holiday I actually thought that the staff thought they stayed here too! One day we woke up to a half full swimming pool - aparently there was a water drought in Cyprus during our stay so the fire brigade came to pump the water out?! However it was back to normal the next day. Our terrace also had patio furniture which was handy to have a quick drink before heading out for the night. Even if one of us wandered home without a key, the reception was always occupied and the receptionist or security guard would give you a spare key to be returned in the morning.

The room was cleaned daily, however, we were given into trouble by the maid for pulling the sofa bed out one night...strange. We frequently had breakfast and lunch at the snack bar which served a range of food, and there is a supermarket directly across the road. Nissi Bay is a 5 mins taxi ride away and is gorgeous although very busy.

Overall, we had an amazing holiday at this hotel, and would definetely go back. It turned out that the hotel we had originally booked was a bit of a dump so it turns out we got the better end of the deal at this hotel!! P.s no sign of ANY bugs!!
