“Simply amazing stay”

I have visited Nissi bay hotel during summer when I went to Cyprus with my mates. I must say that I was very pleased with nearly everything. A great view to the crystal clear beach nearby, staff was very friendly, always willing to help and serve us at their best possible. Rooms were pretty quiet with not loads of noise going on even though it was a high season thereby pretty busy and cleanliness much better than expected. No dusty windows, no sink rust or anything similar nor dirty, broken or foggy toilet seat. Mattresses were seriously comfy and some cozy, lively deco to put you in the mood. I must say that you probably can find cheaper hotels in the area, but once you experience Nissi's services and amenities you definitely won't regret.

“Hotel has lovely gardens but our room was disappointing”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 7 January 2012

We had a garden room which was very clean and functional but did not have a great view and was a bit drab to be honest. We did not spend much time in it.

The gardens are beautiful and very well kept as is the rest of the hotel although it is rather dated. The pool area was lovely and relaxing and very clean. The beach is lovely but hotel guests still have to pay for a sunbed.

Having stayed in the centre of Ayia Napa in the past we liked the location of the hotel as it was quiet but you could walk or get the bus into the town centre if you wanted, we did this most days. The bus was about a euro each and you could get an all day ticket which you could use as much as you wanted which was good value.

We stayed on a B&B basis and few found the variety at breakfast to be excellent and really enjoyed the food especially the lovely warm donuts. We had a couple of drinks in the bar and coffees in the afternoon but they were expensive. Lovely seating area though.

We ate out every night and our favourite restaurant was Flame and Apple was also good. Service and food in all places was good, not exactly cheap, around the same as the UK but there are deals to be found. There were also nice places to have a drink on the way into town and some good prices and happy hours on cocktails.

We went to Nicosia and Famagusta on 2 organised trips which were excellent value for money and the guides were brilliant. However we had to go with Thomas Cook as First Choice did not have a rep in the hotel, we were not especially impressed with this, they were available by phone if required but there was no welcome meeting, not a problem for us as we have been to Cyprus and Ayia Napa before but not ideal if you needed advice. We found Lauren from Thomas Cook very friendly and helpful as was the concierge/guest services at the hotel.

Would highly recommend Zorbas bakery for lovely snacks especially baklava at very reasonable prices.

myself and my husband got married here at nissi beach hotel.on the 26th October 2011.
wow what an amazing day. we worried a little before hand as we werent to sure of what we do. we where greeted with fresh orange and a cold flannel,a lovely treat. we met up with marios wedding manager and caroline who were so helpful and went through the whole day and any extras you wanted.
we put on canapes after the photo's as we got married at 1pm and was quite a wait till the night do at 7pm. lots of comments as the food was beautiful.
a must if you can we had a fabulous saxophonist player in the afternoon, everyone was up and very romantic lasts 2hrs. well worth it.
me and my husband decided to also have a horse and carriage, very magical and people waving down the street at us, felt amazing.
our night do was at the pelican as we couldnt have the rondeval but iam glad as we preffered the pelican for 25 guests worked better. ask them to put the flood lights on, shines the beach up on the night.
out tour operator thomas cook was there to also organise eveything to colour schemes cakes, flowers and town hall, extra trips for your guests. we paid for our guests to go on a catarman the next day all inclusive(food, drink) and private, the best experience as you see small coves get to snorkel and the guys on the boat are so laid back. good one thomas cook!
if you are thinking of getting married here you wont be dissapointed, and there is nothing to panic about before you go. we took table decorations, balloons etc with us, as long as you no colours and roughly what you want. the best day of my life so far!!

“A hotel with nice landscape”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed 22 November 2011

This is an average hotel cause the inside is lesser quality of the outside, meaning that the room and bathroom was not maintained well and taken care of such as the landscape and the beach.
This resort's best amenities is the landscape and the beach. I have been charged to use the beach infront of the hotel. The breakfast was okay but no many varieties.
The location is good in a quite area day and night. Overall the hotel was a bit higher in price than it should be paid.

Room Tip: Sea view rooms in high levels cause the trees in the garden are tall

“Perfect Wedding Venue”

Got married on the 25 October 2011. We had the most wonderful two weeks holiday and the actual wedding day was perfect. The hotel can't do enough to help you in general, and Marios and Caroline will do their utmost to help you sort everything out for the wedding. The gazebo where you get married is so lovely. Overlooking Nissi Bay and the beautiful blue sea. Honestly, we cannot recommend this hotel enough! We had great a great photographer (George) and DVD guy (Steve). Both arranged through Thomas Cook and both worth the money (expensive!). We loved every minute of our holiday and I would do the wedding over and over again!!.Thanks to everyone who helped make our day so wonderful. PS: One point in general. We booked a garden view room and the actual room was very small and I don't think it was of a 4 star standard. We got upgraded to a beach bungalow and that was a lot better and of a good standard. We were happy with that but I think if we'd have been in the garden view room for the full 2 weeks I would not have enjoyed it as much.
