The exuberant gardens and beautiful pool area are the heart of this very tidy and well conducted 5-star hotel. The breakfast buffet is breathtaking and gives you the perfect start for a sunny day in the central Algarve. They have their private shuttle bus to the lovely sandy beach, only 3 minutes away. In fact, if you rather fancy a walk, you will get to the beach in less than 10 minutes.
The rooms are unfortunately rather small, but tidy and luxurious. Ask for sea views when you book. It's worth its money.

This was a fabulously luxurious hotel in the heart of the Algarve. You do have to travel a short distance to the beach (5 min walk). Food was great, staff very helpful, beach was amazing! I was there on business, otherwise it is a little pricey. Rooms were spacious, clean; beds were comfortable. Pools are beautiful, but not heated. Excellant 5 star hotel for a restful week in the sun.

The hotel meet the expectation

A fine five star hotel. Lovely pool and setting. Staff all well trained and very helpful. The only food we took was breakfast which was very good. Free wifi and sky tv were good to have. A super place to stay. The hotel is between Vale do Lobo and Quinta do Lago, so convenient for golf and for restaurants. When we were there last week the age group was 50 plus and the hotel is quiet, so perhaps not the best for families, although the very good beach is only a short 10 or 15 minute walk away and has beach bars etc. The minor criticisms were that the pool bar menu was dull and prices high (4 euros for a small beer). Overall a very well run and comfortable quality hotel, ideal for a quiet break. The staff are really professional and so helpful.

“ Top Tip: The beach bars - Izzy's and Julias - are fine for snacks and that evening beer watching the sunset. Also try the Dounas Doradas restaurant over the road (Xenia's), which is very pleasant and well run by Gaye.
