It was recommended by friends who stay there annually and did not disappoint, we found the service very helpful and loved our dinners at the attached restaurant "Redibis". A charming town and very central for getting out to other towns, although it is tempting to sit in the garden with a cup of tea or glass of wine!

We stayed at L'Orto Degli Angeli on a bicycle tour of Umbria, and it happened to be on our 10th wedding anniversary. Not only is the staff genuinely friendly and helpful, but the hotel, large rooms grounds and endless sitting rooms are exquisite. The breakfast was excellent. This was definitely the best place we stayed during our two-week trip to Italy -- a rare find, and a "must-stay" if you're in the area.

L'Orto is a beautiful building in a very nice ittle town. The buildings and garden are comfortable and full of character as their age would sugggest. Excellent ocal restaurants close by and good base from which to explore Umbria by car or cycling.
This is an old building with quirks! We had minor plumbing issues one evening. This however, is part of the charm.
My one downside which stopped me rating it excellent was price. 220 euro for B+B double room.

We have always resisted sharing this hotel with the world, however, we must not be selfish and should share our good fortune. We discovered Bevagna a few years ago and have been back every year since, The village is perfectly located to explore the area, Perugia, Assisi, Spoleto, Spello. It is easy to drive in and out of and it is not a hill town so easy to walk around.
The hotel is the owners ancestral home, staying at the Palazzo is very special. Francesco and Tiziana have created a wonderful friendly environment. All of the staff are helpful, courteous, warm and friendly. The rooms are exactly as on the website, furnished with antiques and tastefully decorated. A major highlight is the garden that bridges the two buildings, a restful haven to enjoy tea or a wine.
Redibis, the hotel restaurant enjoys a unique setting, a sensitively restored Roman teatro complete with an ultra modern kitchen viewed through a large plate glass window. Paolo, is the superb maitre d' he presents the menu so well and is very helpful with the wine list. The head chef Antonio provides a superb menu based on local produce. The hotel also has a small Pizzaria.
We stay at many hotels but this beats them all, we love the place and will always return to see our wonderful friends in Bevagna and experience their warmth and hospitality. Thanks to you all, and keep our room for next year!
