Our staying in the resort was delightful. We were in August, however the woman who takes care of the resort suggested us to come on June or September for a less hot temperature! Anyway, iIf you can tolerate sleeping without air conditioning, the vacation is definitely spectacular.
There are just 13 rooms, very basic but ok. The best room is Sardina, and this is a sort of junior-suite. Guests are all italians (..), and since you stay altogether for all the week, eventually you know all of them, and at the end of the vacation you realize that the vacation was so good also because of that.
Actually what made this vacation being almost perfect were the daily boat trips (10 am-5pm) with 'Balù', headed from Giovanni who is an excellent chef. He really cooks incredible stuff (soup fish, fried calamari, risotto with fish and so on) on the boat for lunch and also at dinner!!! He is very talented, and the fish so fresh that eating at 'Il Gattopardo di Lampedusa' can really be one of the most interesting food-experience of your life. At least you won't expect something similar anywhere in hotels.
Also, Giovanni and the other 2 guys working on the boat (Pietro and Felice) are friendly and always the atmosphere on the boat was very much relaxed.
So I strongly suggest you to go there, even if it might appear a little bit expensive, you will never regret about it
