As a repeat visitor to the Kristiania I can only say that the staff and the owner family are very professional. when you arrive your personal wishes concerning bedding or pillow are already in place and the CRM-System must work very well. The restaurant knows how you would like your egg boiled in the morning and which tea you prefer. it is a first class experience that you will probalby not find on the arlberg in such a familiar and no-stress surrounding.

1st time in Lech and we chose to stay at the Kristiania. I’d agree with the previous reviewer – we also couldn’t fault anything at the Kristiania. The service, food, drinks, and hotel was all outstanding. We particularly enjoyed finishing off a hard days skiing by relaxing on the on the sun terrace each afternoon with a good drink and a warm duvet! Despite being just outside of the centre of Lech, the regular free bus means getting to the slopes is easy. And if you miss it the hotel are more than happy to give you a lift down into town.

We’ll definitely be coming back!

We have been lucky enough to travel extensively around the world, and stayed in some fantastic hotels on the way. We simply couldn't fault anything at the Kristiania. The friendly and welcoming family who own/run it. The polite, friendly and professional staff, the decor, the rooms, the cleanliness and, oh my goodness, the food! Absolutely everything about it is perfect. The fact that the location is not in the centre of Lech does it no harm at all, as it means you're away from the noise and traffic of the main road of Lech. Besides, the little bus which stops outside the hotel is frequent enough. If you do miss it, it really isn't a strenuous walk to reach the chairlifts, cable car and shops. Yes, they do charge for a carafe/glass of water at breakfast, if you don't happen to notice that it's listed amongst the selection of fresh juices for which you pay extra, and I do think it should provided for free. However, if that is the only observation that I can come up with as a criticism about the hotel, I think it says it all. We shall definitely be going back and can't wait!

If you are spending an extended weekend at the Kristiania and you travel on your own (more time to think, observe, etc.) you experience how much you are taken care of. The warmth of the host, Ms. Schneider ist outstanding and the team helps you with all your wishes you might have related to your ski-holiday. I had a great time, skiing (ski butler), with wonderful food and visits to the SPA (a should see). A very posh place that smiles and conveys understatement. Many international guests with substantail backgrounds.
