I booked this hotel to stay over close to Domodedovo airport as I had an early flight the next morning. It was promised to be 15 minuts drive to airport with free transfer, hotel was described as 4-star business and leisure hotel, built in 2003 etc.
Unfortunately, 90% of the description as well as the hotel location indicated in the map on the website proved to be misleading.
Built in 2003 – untrue! In fact it is a face-lifted recreation center for soviet workers built probably before the eighties and partly rebuilt in 2003. It consists of several separate remote buildings with no covered pass-ways in between, some of barrack-style architecture. At least some of the 4-storey buildings have no lifts. Your confirmed reservation would not necessarily be found when you arrive. Taxi drivers spend ages to find this hotel. It is pretty far from the airport, "free" transfer to Domodedovo costs 1250 Roubles (35 Euro)! Payment with credit cards is a challenge and only one ATM is available in a building 200 m away from the “central reception” building. Personnel is hardly able to issue a room key-card from the first try, so you have to run back to the “reception” building to call them, as there are no telephones in the floors available. Not a kind of a business hotel – no business services – no computer/printer available for guests. Cheap furnishing from IKEA in the rooms. No climate control in the rooms – even no thermostatic regulators on the heaters – only simple valve. You can have it either too warm or too cold in the room.
Restaurant - tolerable. Did not have time to try the swimming pool and other amenities, but they cannot be good enough to compensate and pull this hole up to the 4-star level they pretend to be.
