What a wonderful way to enjoy a weekend away without the need for any extra car travel. The stay on the beach was wonderful and relaxing. You can go for an early swim in the ocean without any dumping surf then have a leisurely breakfast looking out on the beach from your unit/room. It was good to stay on the ground floor but away from the pool.
There are numerous walks you can take from the resort , either along the beach northwards up to the river mouth or southwards to the national park.The views the you come across on the walks are magnificant so don't forget to take your camera. You can on occasions see pods of dolphins if you are lucky. Don't forget to take water and sunburn cream.
After a nice walk and a coffee you can have lunch at any of the ocean front restuaurants, the Noosa Life savers club (which has a fabulous view of the beach) or just a nice take away for your room eating.
At night there are some wonderful restaurants that you can visit but be warned book a seat before you go on your weekend. Some names are Sails and Berado's bistro.

Although the Netanya advertises itself as the only beachfront hotel on Hastings Street don't expect all the services of an hotel...there is no room service nor in-house restaurant and reception closes at 10:00pm. However, this is not a problem as you are spoiled for choice of eateries right outside the front door! This luxury boutique hotel is situated right on the beach with just a swimming pool in between your balcony and the surf. For those wanting a bit of privacy I would recommend you book a first floor beachfront suite rather than one on the ground floor. The suites are on the modest size and are starting to show a little bit of wear and tear e.g. chipped bathroom floor tiles and pieces of grouting missing from the shower wall tiling...despite these small quibbles the room was very comfortable and well equipped.

We had a week in a beach view penthouse and were very happy. The good test of an apartment is wether you want to stay in it if it rains. Well it did rain, spectacularly one day, and we were happy to sit in the apartment and take in the amazing view.

Netanya is very comfortable. It's not amazing in a 5 star Bali way, but it is very, very clean, and perfectly positioned.

Our room was just big enough. There were two balconies which get very hot on a sunny day. There are loungers and table and chairs - all of which looked new. There were no cushions on the loungers, so they were not overly comfortable and this was our only small gripe for the $$. The pool area was quiet and is shaded for most of the day by large palm trees.

The kitchen is small, so dont expect to cook much, but why would you. There are great restaurants literally on the doorstep - including a great ice cream shop next door.

There is a spa bath on the penthouse terrace, which was fun on a cold night.

There was free wi-fi in the lobby and good audio-visual facilities in the room - for when you can't see the view.

Whilst we were here the room next door was up for sale for $2.25 million, making that view almost priceless!

We look forward to our next visit.

Lovely apartments in the best location at the quiet end of Hasting Street within walking distance to everything Noosa has to offer. Stayed in a one bedroom beachfront penthouse with rooftop spa. Bed was a bit too firm for us, and bedroom at the roadside of the property was a bit noisy. All very nice but I think it is time for a freshen up but we would stay here again.
