We recently stayed at The Emerald Resort with our 8 month old and found the staff to be extremely helpful and courteous at all times. The resort is located in probably the best spot off absolute beach front. Its in close proximity to everything you need and literally a 20 second walk to the patrolled beach. The apartment we stayed in was massive and beyond what we were expecting. It was recently renovated and had all appliances, crockery cuttlery that you could need. As if you were at home. The only downside we found was our aparment was located on the 3rd floor directly above a restaurant. We had no hassles until we turned in for the night. From the main bedroom, with windows closed, we could clearly hear patrons in the retaurants conversations. Then there was also a singer, guitar, piano player every night. Whilst they finished at a resonable hour, if you have small children, we wouldn't recommend this apartment. The owner or workers from the restaurant were also up and setting up and using leaf blowers before 5.30am EVERY morning! While this is not the resorts fault, I feel something should be done about the noise from the restaraunt and this would be the perfect spot for anyone. Hard to review with 5 stars with the resort being great but the noise from down stairs annoying.

Stayed for 4 days recently and really enjoyed it. Have 2 young kids so the size of the apartment was just perfect- not too small so that the kids could still run around. The big beauty of this place is that it is bang-on Hastings St and directly across the street from the beach. Park the car the day you arrive and dont need it again until you leave. Very friendly staff too, would definitely head back here again

Postives - Fantastic location from what I could see of Noosa - right on the main street & not too noisy. Pool area was well kept.
Negatives - Cleaning, particularly of the bathrooms, could do with quite a bit of work (obvious dirt in all nooks & crannies). Pillows very hard. Decor extremely dated and not really up to the advertisements of 'luxury' by any stretch. For a five night stay we were only given one sachet of cleaning detergents etc - and then charged for extras. No bbq in most of the apartments (from what I could see) which would have been nice given the weather in the area. No supplies at all (oil / salt / those little things) that are nice to have if paying this much, or renting an apartment in the first place!

Overall would rate positively as we could basically walk everywhere which is what you want from a beach. If I was staying in Noosa again I would research something else in similar location with better amenities.

I went to this resort because of a company’s discount.

The good:
- The room was spotless clean
- The room decoration was nice
- The hotel location is great
- Kitchen appliances were excellent

The not so good
- The room was too noisy. When the noise from the pool ended, the noise form the pub next door started.
- The internet connection is expensive and slow
- The pillows were flat and hard
- The beds were hard
- The pool was overcrowded by teens with a bad attitude and no supervision

In summary, I do not think I got value for money
