Our family of 4 stayed in 2 of the newly refurbished rooms, run by OMAC Noosa Blue Resort, on Jan 15 and 16, 2012. It rained the whole time we stayed, so we got lots of time to enjoy our rooms!

The rooms are very nicely finished, with neutral colours, stone-look and feel tiles, and VERY comfortable beds. Our penthouse room had a delightful canopied 4 poster bed, which felt very special. The bedlinen and towels were extremely good quality.

David, the manager, was very helpful in providing a DVD player and ensuring it hooked up to the big screen plasma, and that everything worked for us. He tried to stop the rain, but - well - one can't do everything!

The rooms have very clever little kitchens which are functional and unobtrusive. Our penthouse had a delightful roof top hot-tub and sun-lounges. There is even a BBQ up there. We did get to enjoy the tub, even though it was raining, as it is partially under cover.

The general feel of the resort is very pleasant and comforting. The main pool is quite large, and there is even a little water slide in the smaller pool.

We will definitely return, as another benefit of this resort is it's proximity to Hastings St, the beach, and in the other direction, a shopping centre with supermarket, cinema etc. They are all within walking distance. There is a great pub/bistro called "The Reef" directly across the road, so access everything is very easy.

I have just returned from a 5 day trip with my daughter at the newly renovated rooms at Noosa Blue Resort. Location is fantastic... very good for the exercise I must add, as it is on top of the hill, but either leaving or returning to the resort is worth the huff and puff :-). Turn left out of the resort and the vibe of Hastings Street, restaurants, clubs and the beach is 10 min walk. Turn right from the resort, and you have convenience stores, restaurants, cinema, banks etc.

David the manager of the OMAC Noosa Blue rooms, was very hospitable, friendly and ensured that all our needs were met. Our room (penthouse with a spa in the room and private spa, bbq and lounge area overlooking the hinterland), was a fantastic way to finish the day and enjoy our own spacious area.

The newly renovated OMAC rooms are tastefully decorated, spacious and provide the perfect environment for a get away for romance or for getting away with the mates. There is a large pool with hot tub and sauna for communal usage, also a kiddies pool and slippery dip. The rooms can be interconnecting for familes travelling together.

The location of this resort is perfect for public transportation, as bus pickups to travel out to Sunshine beach is is just down the road, and taxi travel is very cheap in the area.

I thoroughly recommend this resort for a relaxing holiday.

We were lucky enough to stay in one of the new renevated rooms and loved how chic and boutique the new rooms and hotel has been designed.
Exceptionally modern and beautiful and can't wait to go back.

I recently stayed in one of the newly renovated rooms at Noosa Blue. Having stayed here pre renovation, the new additions are stylish and modern with a Balinese feel. The rooms are spacious and you can tell there has been attention to detail with the finishes. I was staying here on business and found the location to be perfect, just a short walk to Hastings Street but far enough away to not be bothered by the constant crowds there. The facilities are great (lagoon pool, on site parking etc) and local bars & restaurants are less than a 10 minute walk away. I would definitely recommend staying at Noosa Blue, but ensure to ask for one of the renovated rooms!
