“Great destination for families will stay again”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 22 January 2012

We will definitely be staying here again. I was surprised how big our 1 bedroom self catering unit was. We had a view over the lake and found our unit to be surprisingly private and quite. Our unit was very clean. There is an abundance of birdlife beautifully maintained gardens.
This is a great destination for your young families as there are 3 pools that cater for all age groups.
The pools are heated as they say and I heard one young boy coax his mum to get into the water as it was warm at 8 in the morning.
Across the road is the river and Marina with all sorts of eating places and cruises you can book.
A 5 minute drive away is the famous Noosa beach and Noosa headland. We drove up the coast road and the sea was rough and strong winds were blowing whitecaps. When we arrived at Noosa the beach was full of swimmers and families as it was totally sheltered from unpleasant weather. This is a excellent place to have a holiday or weekend away.

Room Tip: Ask for a unit overlooking the lake or pool

“Excellent value for money”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed 15 January 2012

After reading reviews on trip advisor I was concerned about staying here however, our room was clean, tidy, had a comfortable superking bed, air con, seperate bedroom, microwave and kitchenette. Not much of a view of the lake but the complex had a large, welcoming pool complex consisting of 3 pools. Staff were friendly and helpful.
The marina is across the road and Noosaville is a short drive to some lovely restaurants. We booked our room through a third party website as did our friends that stayed. Our friends paid more for their studio room than we did for our 1 bedroom appartment as they booked on another third party site. This is the best value for money we have spent in some time for accomodation at the $100 to $120 per night range.

Room Tip: I rang and asked for a quiet/tidy room as it appears not all may be like this.

“Not recommended if you expect quality”

We stayed here for two nights in September 2011. We were given a first floor unit "with a lake veiw' yeah right ! You struggled to see through the trees to make out the water and not worthy of a lake veiw.
The units around appeared to be owner occupied and the walls are thin, being able to listen to your neighbours and terrible water noise when the ground floor unit shower in use.
Dual access for ground / first floor made for noisy entry exit.
A stain on the toilet wall looks like some one has pissed on the wall and the paint came off.
Free internet is a waste of time as it didn't work.
Not impressed with this place at all. You would be best to avoid if you want a quiet and peaceful unit.
We left a number of complaint issues for the management, but we have never had any contact from them.

Room Tip: Go some where else unless you are happy to take the risk of trying this place.

“Superb lagoon pool. Average accomodation.....average location”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed 23 August 2011

I booked this place because the pool looked great on their web site and, as pools go, it really is superb. It was the highlight and saving grace of what was, really, a pretty average establishment.

Firstly, when you book you need to be aware that the vast majority of the units around the pool (as pictured online) are actually privately owned. The resort only manage a handful of them and you will be very lucky if you can get one.

Our unit was at the back of the complex and looked onto a lake. Not a really picturesque lake. Just a lake with a muddy track next to it. It was nice but not on par with the swim up lagoon pool I’d envisaged.

The units are also very, very simple and have been kitted out pretty cheaply. They offer most of the things that you’d need but, in all honesty, nothing was really done with any flair and the whole place appears to have been furnished after a bulk buy up at Fantastic Furniture.

The overall cheap feeling also applies to the buildings themselves. They are all transportable or pre-fab structures which, if you had it to yourself, may be fine, but when you are sharing with another family (upstairs) noise becomes a problem. Every foot step, discussion or bowel motion from the neighbours was transmitted, with clarity, into our unit. We asked to be moved but, unfortunately, they were fully booked.

We hadn’t been to Noosa before so were a little disappointed to discover that this place really is a bit out of the way. If we go again, we will definitely be moving in towards the French Quarter.

The Noosa ferry terminal is close by and there is a shopping complex (Woolworths etc) across the bridge and left at the roundabout.

They offered WI-FI for a nominal fee but it didn’t work. We tried.

For a big family group who aren’t visiting to see the sights it is probably a decent option if the price is right.

“Stayed and attending a wedding ... nice place”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed 30 July 2011

Convenient location. Nice clean rooms. Three pools at the resort. Our upstairs one bedroom apartment overlooked one of the pools. Friendly staff. Good for a wedding reception venue as it allows guests to stay on site and enjoy a good evening with no travel. We stayed two nights along with many family members and enjoyed our time here. I would stay here again.

Rooms are set up with one bedroom upstairs and studios downstairs. I knew people staying in 561 and 562 from memory which was on the lake side of the resort which was a one bedroom combined with a studio to make a 2 bedroom apartment and this was a really nice 2 bedroom apartment. I am pretty sure the apartments either side were the same.
