“Outdated, depressing room”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed 11 November 2010

We knew we were paying for budget accommodation, but for the price, were not expecting it to be quite so "budget". We stayed in a suite with 4 people (one double bedroom, and a single and sofa bed in the lounge area). The room was very outdated, dark, cramped and very depressing. The bathroom was ancient - the shower would only deliver scalding hot or unpleasantly cold water. The bedroom backed onto some kind of loading area with large skip bins. The bedroom window did not close, so when people began going in and out of the back area at about 5am on Saturday morning, we were unable to block out the noise. The location is great, but not worth it, considering the awful room. Overall, a very disappointing hotel, that looks nothing like it does on the website.

“Basic, but great location”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed 14 August 2010

We stayed in a family room at the back of the motel. The room was compact and basic, but clean. It made an excellent base to explore Noosa as it is right on Hastings street, and we only used it to sleep in.

“PERFECT LOCATION, PERFECT PRICE, CLEAN AND COMFORTABLE”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 4 June 2010

No complaints at all. Highly recommended. Old complex but the service and cleanliness was first class. Not a 5 star resort , older rooms but after all I didnt want to spend all my time in there. Too much to see and do around Noosa. The location of the motel was perfect. Right in the famous Hastings st, surrounded by top class restaurants and shoppiing. Best coffee in town right at your door basically, being Sierra bar and cafe.
So full marks to Noosa Village Motel!! I will be back and I have highly recommended you already.
Thanks for making my stay so enjoyable Mary and John.

“Not Impressed”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed 9 May 2010

We found this motel poor value for money. Unfortunately having paid upfront we felt unable to move on.
Although in a great location if one didn't mind the cooking smells from restaurant at front
(mostly stale). No doubt position would account for what we felt to be very overpriced. We wouldn't have minded so much if the unit was clean but the shower had considerable mould around the tiles and the bedspreads were also noticeably unclean. There was no handbasin in the bathroom either which we found ridiculous.

It was not an experience I would care to repeat and would never recommend this motel to anyone.

“really sad”

We found the suggestion of this motel on a tourist guide and looking at their website we thought it was simple but nice. When we arrived we were really depressed. The interconnected "rooms" were nothing more that a garage transformed in rooms, dark, suffocating, depressing, very old bathroom, impossible to have privacy because it was on the ground floor. Given what they offer the cost is absolutely not cheap in comparison to other solutions we later discovered. No service, no willingness to help, we got the impression to "disturb" when we asked for something. Reception has limited open hours, apart from that the owners are only available for bookings, nothing more. It was the only bad experience in an otherwise wonderful holiday in Australia.
