My Mum and I stayed in a Waterview Apartment for 2 nights.
We were happy with our overall stay, the hosts seemed very friendly, the room was lovely and clean with lots of cooking utencils, cups etc but there were also somethings we were a little unhappy with. These things did not affect our holiday to much but I feel they need to be mentioned.
We had a beautiful little courtyard over looking the Noosa River but the fact it had no roof/shelter was a huge let down, more so because the whole weekend we were there it rained so we were unable to go outside at all, I imagine on an extremely hot day this would also be an issue as there is no shade. It would have been great to be able to have our morning coffee sitting outside enjoying the view rather then locked in the room with the door shut so the rain didn't come in. This was a huge let down for us.
I have stayed in alot of different places and we have always been provided with a couple of facewashers which the Caribbean did not provide. Usually I bring my own sponge but this time I forgot to pack it so a facewasher would have been great.
We were told when we checked in that the cleaners would come the next day to empty the bins and give us fresh towels, they never showed up. No big deal really.
We made sure we booked a room with 2 different sleeping options so Mum and I didnt have to share a bed. This room had a Queen size bed upstairs and a double fold out sofa bed downstairs. It wasn't till we arrived at Caribbean that we were informed of a $10 linen fee for the fold out bed. It wasn't a big cost but had we of known this when booking we would have brought our own linen. I was disappointed that this was not mentioned anywhere. I also found a spare blanket in the cupboard to chuck on the fold out bed but it smelt as though it had been sitting in the cupboard for quite sometime. Maybe they need to be washed a little more frequently.
Overall, It was a nice place in a great location, not far from Hastings Street.
Would I stay here again? No but that is purely cause I personally don't plan on returning to Noosa. I can think of much better places to spend a relaxing weekend. The highlight of the trip for us was the Eumundi Markets.
