The staff at this place do the best they can with very tired and worn out accommodation, they all do everything they can to make your stay as pleasant as they can. But the owners need to spend some money on the place, its dirty, there are vermin everywhere (mice & roaches in the rooms), mould, its like walking back into the 90's!
If this place was anywhere else in Australia it would go broke and/or be closed down, but this is Port Hedland and rooms start at $350 per night and its booked out months in advance! There are no other options in WA's mining towns, so you have to take what you can get, it's a shame with the $$'s the place makes that they don't reinvest and make it better!
