Great place to stay; new and clean

Quiet, away from streets; felt like somewhere in the forest away from the crazy world

My partner and I spent 4 nights at Big Brook Cottages and loved it. It was everything we could have asked for. Immaculately clean, and it had all the little extras that make a difference. Milk in fridge on arrival, teabags, coffee. Shampoo, conditioner etc. in bathroom. Lovely couple who have recently taken over the property. We wish them well and can only say if we were in Pemberton again for a stay then we would not go past Big Brook Cottages. Thank you.

Big Brook cottages are well equipped, very clean and set in beautiful flowery gardens. Each of the four cottages is set in it's own private garden.There was milk in the fridge when we arrived and tea, coffee and sugar were all provided. French windows in the spacious open plan lounge/kitchen/dining area allow you to watch the many colourful little birds that visit the garden. In the main grounds flocks of parrots and ibis were regular visitors.
The cottages are a convenient short drive out of Pemberton where there is a supermarket and many more shops.
Wineries abound as do forest drives. Go and see the Gloucester tree and visit the Lavender farm set in fragrant gardens. It has a little cafe which serves tasty food especially their speciality pancakes! An interesting gallery to visit if you like wood is the Golden Grape gallery which is full of beautiful objects.

Wow, what to say. We had to arrive very late, and the staff turned on the heaters and lights. They left the door open so we could formally check in in the morning. The rooms were more amazing than in the pictures. The large bath was just what we needed after a long drive from Perth. The view we were greeted with in the morning from the patio was amazing. The kitchen was fully supplied with everything you would need. It was just a wonderful stay, with sweet people. I can't wait to go back!
