After being booked into the Dunsborogh backpackers by a misguided dive tour operator the previous night and getting no sleep in a noisy,dingy, sparse cell (although typical for a backpacers I know)the Beachlands Holiday Park was nirvana. Absolutely top rate service, friendliness and local knowledge from the girl at reception. I truly thought we were the 1st to stay in the chalet as it was just SOOOO CLEAN. Chalet had everything TV DVD, well appointed kitchen, bathroom and impressively finished. Even the towels were large white and fluffy!! Nice little garden out the front. After becoming accustomed to having low expectations for accomadation and service even from 5 star hotels and resorts over the years I was absolutely suprised and delighted with with all aspect of the stay and will definately go again Well done Beachlands, bravo!

Just spent a weekend at the Beachlands. My friend and i stayed in a 2 bedroom spa chalet. The chalet was immaculately clean and comfortable. The chalet has all modern fittings and fixtures and we enjoyed a relaxing weekend. The park is set back from the road, and we found it very quiet. The reverse cycle a/c was on when we arrived......lovely, after a long drive.
The rest of the park looked good. I'd recommend a stay in the 2 bedroom chalet!
