Had a great stay at Sandpiper on the weekend. Great location and very close to all the shops and restaurants as well as being mid way of that wonderful beach that Apollo Bay has. Rooms were super clean and tidy and due to the location is very quiet.
Would recommend this place to anyone

Got room 17 with ocean views after thorough friendly checkin. Would stay here again , but counting on winning $30m lotto tonight so might buy the place instead!

The soundproofing between the upper and lower rooms wasn't good and we could hear every step and every bed creek from the room above which was very disappointing. Good things about motel very close to shops and beach, room was spotless, The owners were very friendly and made you feel welcome on arrival.

The room was clean and comfortable. The check-in process was quick. The spa-bathroom was huge. However, it was the most expensive of 5 places we had stayed in a week. Whilst there was tea/coffee/sugar and milk, there were no little extras like the other B&Bs/motels we stayed in. The biggest surprise was the complete lack of bathroom cabinet/shelving. Our 'deluxe spa' bathroom had no surface at all to place anything barring a few inches either side of the basin; I had to borrow a chair from the lounge to put my toiletry bag on something. There was no shower curtain/cubicle (by design) so by the time I had finished my shower, the water had reached the edge of the toilet.
On the upside, it is close to Apollo Bay sops/restaurants and our brief interaction with staff was fine.
