We booked the executive 3 bedroom apartment thinking this would be better that the normal 3 bedroom. Unfortunately the apartments are individually owned so it is the luck of the draw as to what you get. Our apartment was dirty, tired and depressing. The yellow leather couches were actually worn through and filthy. All of the furniture was scratched and chipped. There were chipped glasses in the cupboards. I think perhaps the apartment had not been used for a long time as the build up of dust was everywhere in the apartment. Views from the 3 bedroom apartment are limited as you are between the towers and not right on the front of the building. I did raise our issues with the girl on the front desk but she was rude and disinterested.

We are regulars at Peninsular Beachfront Resort. The position is excellant. Park the car in the secure parking underneath and there is no need to use it again until you leave. Resturants, cafes, supermarket and surf club are at the door. Not to mention the great views of the surf. There is a gym, tennis court and pool onsite, also for the young members of the family, a shaded wading pool. We have occassionally tried other places and locations on the Sunshine Coast but nothing comprares to Peninsular's location, price and friendly staff.

We have stayed at peninsular for five years now every Christmas for a couple of weeks and the kids still love it. The great location, tennis court, pool, spa and the amazing views of the ocean are fantastic. You don't need a car as restaurants and shops are at your door step. The management are friendly and will assist you without question. Would never stay anywhere else!

For many years we have stayed in a 2BR apartment on the 8th floor of the Peninsular. When we first started coming to Mooloolaba we would inspect the nice shiny new apartment buildings which sprang up every year but none of them could match the Peninsular for position and convenience. Every time we return we are greeted like long lost friends by the staff. This year when we commented to Scott, the general manager, that our unit was looking a "little tired" he immediately contacted the owner to have it refurbished. I can't think of anything negative to say which is why we keep returning annually.
